The Mid-South Forestry Equipment Show, the longest-running and best attended live demo in the South, will be held August 21-22, again on Mississippi State University’s John W. Starr Memorial Forest located just south of Starkville, Mississippi.

Mid-South Forestry Equipment Show

In a planning meeting on November 13, the show board approved a new layout that will make the venue more compact while providing more shade for static and live exhibitors and abundant, mature timber for the latter group. As well, the board voted to invite food truck owners to service the show for the first time, meaning a wider choice of food and beverages.

Founded in the mid-1980s and held every other year, the event showcases the latest forestry equipment and forestry technology and consistently draws more than 6,000 participants over two days. It also provides loggers and foresters with an opportunity to earn continuing education credits via on-site classroom sessions.

Exhibitor information is expected to be available early in the first quarter of 2020.
